Valeberg Ecosolutions is the provider of Airborne 10™ and Biotreat 2000™ solutions in the UK and European markets.
Airborne 10 which uses SIAT (Surfactant Induced Absorption Technology) alters the solubility and also the effective area or interface of the water droplet by something in the order of 500,000%. Airborne 10 achieves this by having its hydrophilic (water loving) end in the water and its hydrophobic (water hating) end in air. This happens immediately the droplets are formed. This means that our 50 micron droplet that had a surface area of 7,855 square microns and effective volume of 65,458 cubic microns has now got an effective area of 39,275,000 square microns and an effective volume of 8,182,227 cubic microns. Now when we go back to our collisions we can see why this is important.
Biotreat 2000 has been formulated for use in water treatment plants, collection systems, pumping stations and fat traps to break down organic solids, reducing odour and corrosion.
The Design Council awarded Millennium Product status to SIAT. as a Best of British Technology. Bio-degradable absorption using Airborne 10 more than exceeds all the sustainability requirements of IPPC. Airborne 10 is a factor 10 technology, which means it uses a tenth of the environmental and financial resources, compared to other conventional technologies.

Airborne 10
Airborne 10 the trademark name for Surfactant Induced Absorption Technology (SIAT). This advanced formulation of surfactants, when mixed with water and atomized through an APPS UK Ltd system, dramatically increases the effective surface area of each water droplet by approximately 500,000%, resulting in enhanced absorbency. The technology works by positioning the hydrophilic (water-attracting) end within the droplet and the hydrophobic (water-repelling) end exposed to the air, enabling the droplets to capture airborne particulates. As these particles are absorbed, the droplets gain weight and eventually fall to the ground, where they naturally decompose. Airborne 10 is a non-selective technology meaning that when atomized, it will absorb any airborne particulates into the water droplet. Gases are incorporated into the solution and biodegrade upon contact with the ground, while dust is effectively removed from the air. Additionally, bacteria and viruses are neutralized, rendering them harmless.
Biotreat 2000
Biotreat 2000 has been formulated for use in water treatment plants, collection system, pumping stations and fat traps to break down organic solids, reducing odour and corrosion. The enzyme present in Biotreat2000 immediately starts the break down of organic matter. The reaction products, together with the nutrient salts of Biotreat2000 create a perfect medium for the growth of bacteria in Biotreat2000 . The organisms will secrete additional enzymes capable of attacking proteins, carbohydrates and fats.
